A Swedish-Canadian wildlife cinematographer based in Sweden and the UK, and working internationally.
For more than seven years he has filmed wildlife across Africa, Europe, Asia and America, much of that time living in the field in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. He was lead cameraman on Netflix’s Emmy-nominated Living with Leopards, and filmed the opening sequence of Our Planet II: World on the Move, winner of Best Animal Behaviour at Jackson Wild.
His work spans Netflix, the BBC, National Geographic, NHK and SVT, and earned him an Emmy Award for cinematography. What he loves most is patience: a long lens that lets an animal stay itself, and a sequence followed beat by beat until the story arrives. When the scene asks for more, he reaches for the drone to lift the view, the gimbal to move with the animal, slow motion to stretch a single heartbeat, or a camera trap to see what happens when no one is there.
